OBF!

Borrowing from another school's rather infamous statement...

ONLY

SHALL FLY TODAY!

Don't be mad! Joke lang po!

Seriously, I really am praying that it's a 3-peat for the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Too bad I can't watch the game live but hopefully I can catch it on TV and then go to mass at the Gesu after AND see everyone at the Bonfire in the days to come!

One Big Fight!

(yes. involve ako sa sports bakit ba?:p)

Move over Lady Gaga!

Recipe to Become GAGA
( As in "ang gaga mo!" type of gaga)

JUSKO TEH!!! Anong nangyari sayo?!?!

Apologies to her fans but I think Rihanna has lost it. Ever since the violence and drama with Chris Brown (and perhaps the plastic surgery that followed), parang may turnilyong hindi na nabalik.

Over beer Ping, Tim and I discussed how Rihanna has gone a little crazy especially with her music. Right after playing the role of a punching bag, she released Rude Boy. Parang "sige teh gusto mo pa ng rude boy??? di ka pa nakontento??" Chuice!

And then there was Love the Way you Lie which was like "Ikaw na. Ikaw na ang martir!"

Suggest ko lang, baka gusto mo na rin kumanta nito...

Chuice!!!

So, move over Lady Gaga, a new GAGA is on the rise!

It's a Girl Thing!

Back from a bad case of fever! :D
---
The call to innovate is very important these days. With competition so close like the Japanese sweet corn vendors along Katipunan, one needs to think of new things or at least present new ways of doing things.

One thing that caught my attention is how people innovate around feminine products. Oo nga naman, with all women having to go through entertaining a monthly "visitor" these products command a big market share. And to win, your version should be a cut above the rest.

Minsan nga lang, weird na like these:

Well, uso ang mga vampires these days. I guess, this pad guarantees to absorb really well!!! Speaking of being absorbent, ano kayang capacity nito?

2 Gb?!? Chuice!

Sometimes, if you really want to be fancy about it

Uhm ok. I don't get this. So the pearls just go dangling around? And aren't they uncomfortable. (I should know...Really.)

*Enter Rihanna...

Patron ng mga Martir. Cheka!

Finally...

Ok its made of 100% sea sponge so its all natural and it won't hurt Mother Nature. Pero parang naiisip ko siya...

WHEEEEEEEEEEE!

Gotta go! Bye!

Quickpost: How Pinoys are Invading Glee

It's funny how more and more Pinoy elements get featured in Glee. I'm guessing somewhere in the production is a Filipino or a Filipino at heart.

First was the cameo of Jollibee...

Fierce oh! Parang hihigupin si Jollibee!

Then Charice invades the cast as Sunshine Corazon

Seriously, may kilala kayong may family name na Corazon?!

Then we have mentions of "Philippines" and "Filipino" in the first episode of the 2nd season.

Then we have a special participation of none other than

THE LIPS OF MS. POPS FERNANDEZ! Chuice!

Lastly, Glee began serving ALTANGHAP (agahan-tanghali-hapunan) VALUE MEALS!!!!

Extra rice pleeeez! Heehee. Chez!

Baboo! Will start watching the episode again!

No Air No Air!

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources recently warned Metro Manila residents on the alarming case of air pollution in the city.

According to DENR Secretary Ramon Paje, tests on air quality in the first half of the year showed an increase in solid or liquid particles suspended in the air “In the first half of 2010, it increased to 163 micrograms (ug)/normal cubic meters (Ncm). It’s really alarming."

The data were collected from at least 12 areas in Metro Manila, including those on EDSA, Espana, Taft and Katipunan. Suspended particulates from vehicles consist of carbon monoxide and sulfur molecules mixed with dust.

This is alarming especially for me since I work in Katipunan. Everyday, I take the LRT and walk beside cars, trucks, motorcycles and... yes, kerreh people (CHUICE!) Kidding aside, should the situations worsen, I believe time will come when people may have to start wearing masks.

I remember city dwellers (DWELLERS?!?) in Asia were forced to wear facial/ surgical masks on the streets due to the AH1N1 scare. What if mauso sila ulit? Well styles are available to make them cooler and funkier.

Anghel sa paningin, animal ang dating! Chez
Oh, this one is ingenious...

Diba? No need to take your mask off when eating. Funny lang yung zipper. Parang ngipin ng piranha!

Kung feel mong mayaman ka...
Yes! Louis Vuitton!

Well, if you really want to be earth friendly...

"Green Screen is made from pulp of fungal spores and filters bacteria from nasal passages. Another feature of Green Screen is that it can separate carbon-dioxide from exhalation. This feature allows the embedded seeds to germinate, form roots and later the mask can be planted directly into the soil." (Source)

Reminds me of

So far its ok to wear them. But wait, there are some masks that are ridiculous especially if you wear them in the Philippines

Mr Suave is that you!?

Feel ko normal lang to dati. But now, magkamukha na kayo...

Finally, shempre may pa-diva.

But wait, baka mapagkamalan ka...

Afraid!

Well, I still pray this time won't come. Apart from its such a hassle to wear a mask, wouldn't anyone want fresh air outside their homes? So lets try reducing carbon emissions ( eep!) and start planting more trees around :D

Business As Usual!

Donald Trump is undoubtedly one of the richest man in the world. With billions of dollars at his disposal, he could have everything he wants.

Pwera siguro looks!

Di na niya siguro alam kung saan ilalagay ang pera. That's why he has quite a number of bizarre business ventures which include tea, bottled water, magazines, STEAKS, board games, a university, vodka and yes, Ms. Universe HAHA. (Source)

I wouldn't be surprised kung tatapatan na rin niya si...

[Flisht]Toys R Us

When I was young, I had lots of toys that they occupied a huge cabinet back home. Most toys were robots, dinosaurs, cars, Lego pieces and yes, action figures (SAY?). But together with them are teacup sets, miniature cooking gadgets and a sewing machine.

OHKAAAAY.... KAYA PALAAAA!!!

Toys shape how a child grows. Give him a toy hammer and he will turn out to be a carpenter. Joke! But yeah, toys provide kids with early interests that could possibly be developed as he/she grows older. But what if you give him really weird toys- which actually exists? Ano na lang ang mangyayari sa bata?

I found this set of really odd stuff for kids and I think, these toys have inspired people to become who they are now. Oy, serious! Deh...

1.
Ay grabe lang! May galit ata sa mga madre ang gumawa nito! haha sagasaan mo nga sila ng bowling balls! Well, I'm sure masyadong tumitig dito si Ate Guy!

2.

Ano to? GMO?! or cross breeding? In fairness ang daming involved ah! Im guessing giraffe yung nanay and zebra yung tatay. Tapos malandi si mother and pumatol sa leopard. Di nakuntento pati sa elephant bumigay!

Feel ko eto ang inspiration niya...

Isa pa to! May baby bang ganito kadami ang buhok? Ay and take note, you can shave him!!! Eh eto kaya, sinong nagshave?!

Pa-volunteer next time!!! Chez!
