KOIture Awards:Golden Globes 2011 Red Carpet Edition (1st of 3 Parts)

Hollywood Awards season has finally started with the Golden Globes today! And while I am delighted with the winners this year, I am much more overwhelmed by the Red Carpet show! With a mixture of fabulous, eyebrow-raising and OMG-OK-KA-LANG?? dresses, this event definitely deserves a post...or three (Chyeh!)

Again, may I reiterate that I am no fashion expert so my opinions are based solely on my taste. Agree or disagree, walang basagan ng trip. Chuice lang! But unlike my previous fashion reviews with hits, misses and face-offs, let me change the mechanics.

Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Edition

True to the "Awards" theme of the season, let us recognize the winners, special awardees for the individual categories and group categories.

And the winners are...

Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum

This proves that you do not have to bare too much skin to be called sexy. The nude shade complemented her skin and hair color very well, she was glowing on the red carpet.

Naya Rivera in Douglas Hannant

No need for much frills or beadwork! Only some playful twists to make roses that perfectly accentuated her well, boobies.

Meanwhile, here's over the top that worked!

Amber Riley in Oliver Tolentino

I think it's the cut that suited her well. And the sparkle somehow provided an optical illusion to hide the flabs and unnecessary bumps

Meanwhile magpapahuli ba ang mga boyzzzz?

Andrew Garfield in Emporio Armani

The man-of-the hour looked suave in his suit. Ang kere lang maygad! I'm sure the Spiderman outfit is somewhere inside. Sinong magvovolunteer sumilip raise your hand!!!

And a perfect contrast to this baby face (baby face!??!?!)

Chris Evans in Gucci

Bad boy looks with a princely charm. YUMASHITA THE TIGER'S TREASURE! (Pansin ko lang, bakit pag lalaki puro kahalayan ang comment???)

And now the Special Awards- Individual Category

BABAENG HUBAD NA SINIKSIK SA STOCKINGS AWARD

is given to

Christina Aguilera in Zuhair Murad

Jusko teh! Nakakahinga ka pa ba niyan?

BATTERED ARTISTA AWARD

is given to

Julie Bowen in Tadashi Shoji

Parang pinagulong-gulong sa isang mabato at maalikabok na kalsada. Next award is presented by our sponsor...

SCOTCH BRITE AWARD

is given to

Catherine Zeta-Jones in Monique Lhuillier

So I love Catherine Zeta Jones and Monique Lhuillier is a Filipina but I'm sorry parang gusto kong maglabas ng

Chuice lang!

Now for the Special Awards- Group Category

NAGMADALI PAPUNTANG GOLDEN GLOBES AWARD

is given to the following:

Grace Hightower in Donna Karen

"Shet di nagring yung alarm clock! Etong kumot nalang!" Meanwhile...

Edie Falco in Valentino Couture

"Ayan may retaso pa ng red carpet! Masuot nga! Bagay na bagay!" And yes, di natin palalagpasin si...

Halle Berry in Nina Ricci

"Teh! Wag ka na magdress! Mag nightgown ka nalang! Tapos idagdag mo tong kulambo!"

Finally,

NINANG AWARD

is given to the following

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad

In fairness, very Filipiniana ang theme! Meanwhile...

Scarlett Johansson in Elie Saab

ANONGNANGYARISAYO?!?!?! Well at least you are consistent, pang ninang din ang hairstyle! Pero parang hindi nakakatuwa. Choz
