Disney Princesses Made More Modern and Fashown!

Modern princesses are completely different from what we see in cartoon shows.

NANAMAAAAAAAAAN?

AYOKO NA PLEZ!

I'm sorry, I guess I have this Disney Princess craze lately but promise, this is going to be my last! For the week, at least.

But yeah, we have seen versions of Ariel, Jasmine and the rest of the gang. But have you seen them in modern fashionable clothes? Have you seen them in an attitude that is far from what we normally observe?

Thanks to Looklet (you should try this during idle times!) I've recreated the Disney princesses as new age women while still staying true to some elements of their respective identities. Effort to gawin ah so enjoy!!!

Let the show begin!

First in line...

Looks like Little Red Riding Hood is heading to the forest for another objective than to visit granny! Here kitty kitty! Chuice!

Snowhite basks under the sun for a summer picnic! Namiss daw niya ang mga dwarf so gusto niya magpinic sa gubat!

Cinderella turns to Gap as her fairy godmother! With a denim jumper, white shirt and Louboutin heels she goes from helper to head-turner!

Timid Aurora explodes into a rock princess! With nightly gigs and mosh pits someone could be losing sleep now. Ok lang bongga naman siya kung matulog. 48 years!

Ariel takes on water anew! Tired of the open sea, little mermaid chooses to cool down by the pool in a bandeau and delicate lace. Meganon?

Definitely no longer a provincial lass, Belle conquers the city in a mini skirt fur scarf and Zanotti pumps. Jusko teh, ano nalang ang sasabihin ni Mrs Potts?

For the finale

Someone's ready for a chic Arabian Night! Jasmine looks enchanting in a blue dress, turquoise turban and layers of bling. (from her dowry. Chez)

*NEWFLASH*

Just received a call from someone familiar

Kfuh! Next time!

I'm thinking, let's do a party with a modern Disney princess theme? You like?! I do! Game!

The Other Side of Disney Princesses (Second of 2 parts)

Read the first part here.

One more thing common to the Disney Princesses is their "happily ever after" ending. Of course, after all the sleeping and eating poison apples, the villains lose and the pretty girls win!

O wacky naman jan!

And yeah, at the end of their fairy tale story is a grand wedding with their princes.

Suswerte ng mga bakla!

But what if these happy endings never came? What happens when Snowhite, Cinderella and Aurora escape from lala-land and are faced with harsh realities of the real world? Will they still be as adorable? Tingnan natin...

The Fallen Princesses Project by Dina Goldstein (more here) examines the various issues faced by the woman of today. Much as each lady aspires to fulfill her dream of becoming a modern-day princess, she is in constant threat from various pressures imposed by so-called "standards" of beauty and femininity.

I'm sure you will understand what the pictures really want to say. But for the purpose of this blog, lets take the lighter side of things. HAHAH

Let's start with the non-disney gurls first

Ohymgod little red riding hood! Anyare sa diet mo??? Supersize me!!!

And Rapunzel battling cancer.

Ok this is depressing and I will not make fun of it.

Belle goes under the knife

True love ba to at gusto niyang maging kamukha ni Beast??? Well please please never consider plastic surgery and try to grow old with class, embracing those fine lines instead. Don't be like her...

Spot the Difference. Gretchen mad, happy and sad. Parang wala masyadong pinag-kaiba!

Cinderella Lasingerra! Rhyming???

Talk about abusing yourself. Depress-depressan si ateh! Feel ko after to ng ball "Shet balik maida na naman ba meeee???"

Speaking of giyera

Fighter!!!

Well war in the middle east is pretty common so I guess she had no choice. Wait, I smell something fishy here...
Ay alam na! Chuice!

Meanwhile Snowhite becomes a little losyang...

The prince succumbs to his previous royal lifestyle while Snowhite remains domesticated. Chez. Wish lang niya na nakuntento na siya sa mga dwarf...

Ay isa-isa lang! No orgy pleeeez!!! KADIRI

Si Sleeping Beauty naman masyado atang natuwa sa pagtulog

But don't you think this is true love? Enter Rico J Puno...

Kahit maputiiiiiii na ang buhok kooooooooooooo!

Well, happy ending or no happy ending, being a Disney princess is a dream one cannot rob from girls and wannabee girls. I guess its just part of their childhood and their/our (NAKISAMA???) growing process. :)

Ay nabuhay ang mga gaga!

The Other Side of Disney Princesses (First of 2 parts)

Girls and wannabee-girls all had their share of the Disney dream- that is to be a princess. For generations, we have been enchanted by charming ladies each with exciting adventures and fairytale romances.

Gaganda o!

I think Disney princesses have several things in common. First they all had castles. Malamang, princess nga sila diba?

They have their own kontrabida

Ang fierce ni Ursula! Reminds me of...

Chuice!

They can all sing. Well, except for Snowhite. Manipis ang lalamunan and manginig.

And of course, they all had their share of the male species.

In fairness ha, kung sa karne pa, PRIME CUTS.

Among all the Disney princesses, my favorite is Aurora or Sleeping Beauty for several reasons:
1. She has 3 fairy godmothers
2. I love sleeping all day HAHA
3. She's pretty. Nakakarelate ako...
4. Prince Phillip is kerreh
5. Prince Phillip is yumashita.

Chuice!

Anyhoo, they are all sweet, charming, gracious and very elegant. But what if they were a little more kinky, naughty and less nice? I came across some pictures that feature our favorite girls channeling their temptress side.

Cinderella, shoe lang ang iniiwan ha!!! Wag lahat ng damit!

SNOWHITE, EEEEW!!! Akitin mo nga ang dwarf! Taste mo ah, EXOTIC! And what did you do to Prince Charming? Did you just kill him or are you saving him for a threesome? Ayoko iimagine!

Ok Little Red Riding Hood is not a Disney princess but oh no. Bestiality much??? Isa ka pa sa taste mo ah!

And so is Rapunzel. Pero creative ka! Gamitin mo nga hair mo para ipang-gapos! Literally, HABA NG HAIR!

In my next post we shall explore Disney princesses gone wrong- with their fairy tales nonexistent and they are introduced to some of the world's harsh realities. Watch out for that!
