KOIture Awards:Golden Globes 2011 Red Carpet Edition (3rd of 3 Parts)

So I know binitin ko kayo because I stopped at part 2 of the KOIture Awards last week when in fact I claimed that the whole post was going to be in three parts. Well, blame the tight schedule- work, social life (socialite ka?!?) and some special domestic responsibilities (CHUSERA).

So to those I've kept waiting, and those who made kulit a little (Hi Margie and Tim) here's the culmination of the KOIture Awards: Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Edition!

Dianna Agron in J. Mendel

She looked so divine in her nude dress! The nude trend is in fact modern but she exuded an old-world charm that is truly captivating and enchanting. Pero di ko siya crush, utang na loob!

Nicole Kidman in Prada

Nicole is one of the the best dressed ladies in Hollywood and this was another proof. The dress was simple but elegantly accentuated with a bow and a brooch. Though she had a poor taste in accessory (referring to Keith Urban. CHUICE)

OK boys, lapit!

Jake Gyllenhaal in Burberry

Ok I don't really like him (Tanong mo naman muna kung gusto ka niya, ano???) but everything changed when he played Jamie in Love and Other Drugs. He was just adorable! Sarap gawing cellphone charm.

Robert Pattinson in Gucci

Thank god he did not look like a vampire/ drug addict/ taong di natulog for 243,953 days. He looked like a dark prince ready to lure you to some sinful carnal delight. HEH PAKAHALAY!

KOIture Awards:Golden Globes 2011 Red Carpet Edition (2nd of 3 Parts)

Yes day 2 of The KOIture Awards 2011: Golden Globes Red Carpet Edition! In yesterday's post you were treated with some of the best dresses and those that "deserve" special awards as an individual and as a group.

Everyone wore designer frocks. Yet as you may have seen, wearing expensive gowns will not guarantee ultimate vavavoom transformation. Some stood out despite the simplicity of what they wore while others just stuck like a sore thumb. I guess it is true that you can buy clothes that cost a fortune but you can never buy class and taste. Chos! Masabi lang!

And here are those who hit the jackpot!

Anne Hathaway in Giorgio Armani Prive

It was exquisite! Some may say she looked like an armadillo but perhaps she's the best looking armadillo on the face of the earth. (Chusera!) Seriously, the beadwork gave her full radiance instead of stealing the whole show.

Carrie Underwood in Badgley Mischka

So nude may be the new black and Carrie looked divine in this trend. And did you notice the confidence? I just wish she avoided the hair bun.

Lea Michele in Oscar dela Renta

Kung gaano man siya ka-baduy sa Glee, she is definitely looked like a red carpet pro in this number! The color was fresh and playful while the cut allowed her to command respect and admiration even from the veteran actors and actresses.

I swear he looked like a dork in his old films. But ever since he starred in Inception, he was elevated into one of the best dressed gentlemen in Hollywood. Plus hindi ba siya nakakapanghina ng tuhod??? HEH

Scruffy never looked this sexy! (OA!) I guess that burgundy bow tie was a big risk but it worked perfectly for him! Shet pakagat nalang tayo, you want?

KOIture Awards:Golden Globes 2011 Red Carpet Edition (1st of 3 Parts)

Hollywood Awards season has finally started with the Golden Globes today! And while I am delighted with the winners this year, I am much more overwhelmed by the Red Carpet show! With a mixture of fabulous, eyebrow-raising and OMG-OK-KA-LANG?? dresses, this event definitely deserves a post...or three (Chyeh!)

Again, may I reiterate that I am no fashion expert so my opinions are based solely on my taste. Agree or disagree, walang basagan ng trip. Chuice lang! But unlike my previous fashion reviews with hits, misses and face-offs, let me change the mechanics.

Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Edition

True to the "Awards" theme of the season, let us recognize the winners, special awardees for the individual categories and group categories.

And the winners are...

Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum

This proves that you do not have to bare too much skin to be called sexy. The nude shade complemented her skin and hair color very well, she was glowing on the red carpet.

Naya Rivera in Douglas Hannant

No need for much frills or beadwork! Only some playful twists to make roses that perfectly accentuated her well, boobies.

Meanwhile, here's over the top that worked!

Amber Riley in Oliver Tolentino

I think it's the cut that suited her well. And the sparkle somehow provided an optical illusion to hide the flabs and unnecessary bumps
